I'm getting the start up issue as well. Just purchased the DD version this morning and when to play it this afternoon the game won't start. The mouse cursor turns into the loading circle thing then dissappears with no error messages. I tried deleting the Origin cache folders but that does not work. Has there been any progress on this issue?
I'm at least getting an error message when I click play.
Red X button: "We're sorry, an error has ocurred"
"We are unable to connect to the EA servers to activate <CD Deluxe Edition> on this computer using your account. Please try again later."
Does this game ned to talk to the servers each time I play, as given how popular it is, that could be problematic? Anyone got any clue?
