It took me 6 hours to download this ! Not amused !
Same problem.... posted a note on the blog too which I'll reproduce here:
It appears to be broken. I played with the Sims 4 character creator but that's it. I've just downloaded The Sims 4, it says I've already played for 1 hour. It also says "Game Time not yet started." I hit play, then "Play Now" on the additional dialogue explaining I have 2 days. I then get a big dialogue saying could not activate, enter product key from the Sims 4. A few seconds later an Origin popup spawns saying "Game Time Error" and telling me i've already enjoyed it?
I can only guess, but could it be that people who installed and tried the character creator and other beta stuff have lost their entitlement as Origin thinks they've already played the full game, and not just the sim creator that was released way before launch?
Any help? Was kinda looking forward to trying this out over the weekend.
- If you contact EA they can fix this for you and they gave me Sims 2 for free including expansions for free to say sorry🙂
When I spoke to them,they saw I hadn't used the sims 4 but I had used CAS, they didn't say that I wasn't entitled, they just said lots of people have the same problem, BTW people are having problems with game time for battlefield 4
I've just spoke to someone, it's a global issue, they said it'll be within the next 24hr maybe even more before it is fixed
Cool, patience is a virtue then.
I haven't tried Sims Create a Sim and have the same problem as everyone else. Hope they sort it soon!
