Inter-House Cooperative Play?

Hey! My family recently went out and purchased Sims 4 thinking that two of our computers could play cooperatively, in the same world with one another. Is this true? Or how far does the online part of the game extend? If you could explain this further to me, I would really appreciate it!

Elaborating, I found it possible that we could both play on separate computers at the same time, but not with one another. Is this the truth? I have both computers signed in on the same Origin account and it states they can't both be online at the same time. We would have to play on the same computer at separate times?

Thanks very much for any assistance!

  • The game isn't really an online game. The only online feature it has is the gallery where you can share your Sims/houses and stuff. Other than that, it's a single player game.

And you're only allowed to play on one computer at any given time. It's a one user license.
