Inventory Crashes after Completing Lost Legacies Event

I created a new save file in order to complete the Lost Legacies Event. Now, I may have made the mistake of attempting to destroy the cell phone that appears in all sims personal inventory once I completed the event. Afterwards, the game immediately crashes.  This continually happens whenever I’m in any sims personal inventory with and without mods. I’ve tried everything from repairing the game, the EA App, clearing cache deleting the localthumbcache/online cache file, and even deleted the whole mods folder. I haven’t tried uninstalling the game because everything works fine, until I open the inventory and try and click on anything in the inventory. It usually will freeze once I’m inside the inventory though, and then crash before I can do anything.
