Invisible NPC Sims

Hello!

So, my Sim has been having houseguests, like revolving door, lots of guests. After a while, I got another call and my guest was completely invisible. All I could see was the bubble above her head that indicated she was a part of my “group”.

Cant interact with her, because I can’t click on an invisible body, so I was just stuck. I try to go to another screen and just got stuck in an infinite loading screen.

So I had to force close my game and restart it. I play as usual, and eventually when another guest comes they’re invisible still. Everytime there’s an invisible guest, I can’t save my game or leave the lot because I get that infinite load screen again!

Not sure if it matters, but I’m using a few mods and cc. I combed through it and removed some things, repaired my game. Still, the issue persists. 

I searched google to see if anyone else has had this issue, but everything comes up TS2 or TS4 ☹️

    Could be a mod issue. To make sure it's not, it's best to remove them all.

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
