Is ATI Radeon HD 2600 256 mh graphics on a Mac being supported?

I downloaded Sims 4 yesterday.   Download went fine.  Opened the game, and the screen went to vertical rows of pixelation.  Sound was okay.  Granted, my system is at the outer edges of minimum requirements:  2.66 Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 gb of RAM, ATI Radeon HD2600 256 mh card.  Still, according to the specs, it should be working.  I've tried the 'repair game'.  Should I just assume it will have to sit in my Origin account until I spring for a new computer?

    What OS Version are you using ?

    Could you post a picture ? To do so, change to window mode and press Print Screen to take a pic. Paste that into Paint and save it.

    Then upload the picture to a third party image sharing site like imageshack and then post the link here.

    The OS is 10.9.5.

    Whoa.  Popping into Window mode cleared it.  Going back to Full Screen, it stayed fully functional.  I have since quit and reopened twice, and it has remained okay.  So, hopefully...
