is it true if i reinstall the sims 4 my expansion packs will stay available?

i have a problem while trying to following the youtuber installing reshade, and somehow the apps crash my sims4, I read the expansion packs will not lose, but I'm in dilemma cuz when I try to uninsta...

    @Sabarena  The expansions will be uninstalled as well as the base game.  But your account will still own them.  So when you reinstall Sims 4, all your packs will be available to install as well.

    @puzzlezaddict  thank you for your explanation. Glad my sims 4 can be open, because the EA ask me if I want to repair the game. after I click yes and wait for repair i can play the game as usual. thank you!
