Issues with CC Clothes

I am having three issues with my clothing cc

  1. When i installed a cc clothing (Jeanne Cardigan (Accessory)) it doesn't show up in my game, even though i check the accessory, tops, full body, etc.
  2. Another shirt i installed said I needed to use the mesh (above shirt is the mesh) but neither showed up.
  3. I installed another cc shirt but when i installed it, it just showed half of it and removed my sims torso. I tried to reinstall it, but did not work.

I did check if a mesh is needed for both. And nothing was there, so would it be a problem with my game?

    @wilbloom592 When was the last time you updated the game because origin and steam is version 1.81. The first thing you want to do is update your game via origin or steam whatever one your using try the cc again and if it's still the same you will have to wait for he creator to update it.

    @wilbloom592 Sounds like the cc you have downloaded is broken and doesn't work with the current patch I don't use cc but I remember all this happening to a friend who does use it.

    My sims version has the expansion packs only till '' Bowling Night Stuff '' would that be why its a problem?

    @wilbloom592 Some cc does require certain packs to show up in game but it's rare that cc creators create cc that requires packs the current Sims 4 version is 1.81 the problem is updates can break some cc and mods and some cc creators don't update their cc when you download cc you have to check to see if it's compatible with your current version of the game.

    What you have said the cc you have downloaded doesn't work with version 1.81.

    I see, so this also affects cc hair? Because when i installed some hairs ( from nightcrawler, s-club, and sometimes rarely from leah lillith) it becomes as a shaved head. So would i need to install a new version of the game?

    @wilbloom592 when cc breaks it's up to the creator to update their cc to work with the current version of the Sims 4 and yes you will need to make sure you have the newest version of it's currently 1.81 what version are you running.

    Idk because i just started playing this again, i think i updated it last maybe 2 or 3 years ago? But i'll update it. Thank you so much for you're help!
