@bbjerka I'm not sure exactly what the problem is here. Please describe what you're trying to do in general and what specifically triggers the error. Please also post a screenshot of the error message, or write out its full text.

it's not a error code but my electronic arts folder didn't save into my hard drive properly and now i cant drop as the file correctly. this is what it's showing me the cc mod file was me trying to place the electronic arts back up on there

@bbjerka Your screenshot shows the game's program files, which hold the game itself; not the user folder with saves, saved households and builds, mods, etc. The user folder is the one in Documents > Electronic Arts, and you'll need to use a symbolic link to move it to your external drive, as described here:
Be sure to choose a different folder than the one in your screenshot for the destination. If you get an error when running the command, try using the full file path to the Sims 4 folder, for example something like this:
C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
rather than %userprofile%\Documents etc.
