Karaoke Event Bug

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? Current as of 2020/01/30
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get to Work, Get Together, Island Living, Seasons, Dine Out, StrangerVille
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get invited to sing at karaoke bar.
What happens when the bug occurs? Mission completion requirement is to sing for one hour. The mission doesn't progress when singing solo nor duets.
What do you expect to see? I expect the mission to be completed when requirements are met.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

So I got invited by a friend to sing at a karaoke bar. When you get there the "mission" meter appears in the top left corner and states that the requirements to complete the event is to sing karaoke for one hour. No matter if I sang solo or with the friend, the requirements weren't met. I've tried both with and without mods with mixed results, so I don't believe it has anything to do with those.

    What time are they sending your sim to the Karaoke Bar, as some missions are not defined very well.  If the Day is Tuesday Thursday and Sunday the game wants you to use the machine to sing in the contest for it to count.  Any other day just singing Karaoke will most likely count.

    Edit: If there is a practice Karaoke on the machine use that to clear the goal as the others are just one time only practice allows you to sing continuously.
