Keeps Switching to Legacy Edition???
For the second time in two weeks, I've gone to load up my Sims 4 game only to find the shortcut icon has disappeared and that any attempt to load the game through Origin now tries to load the Legacy ...
@alakurielle It sounds like your antivirus program might be deleting TS4_x64.exe, which some programs like to do these days. If you want to double-check, the .exe is within the game's progam files; unless you changed the default install location in Origin, the full file path will be:
Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
Repairing the game normally puts back TS4_x64.exe, but not if your antivirus blocks it. It's often enough to set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and Origin.exe in your antivirus, but you may need to add them to another list as well, depending on which program you use.
