So now, I realized that the kits that I purchased from Marketplace is what is making my game messed up so that sims can't swim in the ocean, can't go to skill class. Can't get an umbrella, can't buy mechanial parts from the computer, can't use simple living.
So we pay money for these kits and use them in gameplay just for them to be not usable? They need to fix this so that we can play the game without these issues.
I never use mods or cc ever.
LoveBlackSong83 I've checked in my game on all but 1 (growfruit in GF) of the mentioned issues. They are fine in my game. Everything works as it should and the missing items you report are present. Since I play with mods, I asked other helpers who play without them to check the items. I suspect they will find the same but wanted to give you a start on hopefully fixing the problem. So, what it means is that the issue is in your game or save.
I suggest you run a repair just to make sure the game files are ok. You should also delete the localthumbcache file before starting the game after the repair. Then start the game, load the save and check to see if the items are still present. If they are, then I suggest you do a clean folder reset as outlined in this post: 📓[GUIDE] Clean User Folder Approach | EA Forums - 12690428. Test the new game for the issues before copying over your original saves folder. The issues should not be present in the new save. Then try your old save to see if they are there. If they are still there in the original save and not in the new save, then the issue is in the save. There is not anything more to be done at that point. The only option really is to start and play a new save.
