no 'swim in ocean' option

Hi Beth, mermaids can't use ladders to enter or exit the ocean so you have to click on the ocean itself and it'll bring up a pie menu, if you select 'swim around'  your mermaid will go into the ocean and start swimming in their merform. If you have a ladder they'll usually jump into the water from right next to it, mine always do 😄

If Rhea's suggestion doesn't help, could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
• Do you have other packs that have oceans and does it work there ?

I just bought this expansion pack last Sunday and I'm having the same issue, with no mods installed btw.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Do you guys just have issues with Mermaids or any Sim ? Does not menu open at all or just not with Sim Here ?  Could you maybe add some pics ?

I am having this issue as well. It will let them wade in the shallow parts of the ocean but won’t let them swim or even access boats or snorkeling that is in deeper water. The sim thinks it can’t get to it but there’s no obstacles in the way? Help!!! It shows this icon but won’t pull up the pie menu to select it. I tried repairing the game but it didn’t fix it. It happens on all lots for me 

Have you guys already tried repairing the game ?

I have repaired and it still happens. Tested with mermaid and non-mermaid sims.

I have included some screengrabs below based on questions asked. Basically, swim doesn't show as an option for either but only in the ocean. They can swim in pools. The dive buoy and swan dive etc. gets the can't path response from the sims.

Also, thank you for your help trouble shooting this! 

I don't have other packs with swimmable beaches I don't think. I checked and the water in them isn't clickable. (for rent, and cats and dogs). And yup have turned cc off, nothing has changed unfortunately.
