Laptop Recommandation

Hello Simmers !

I've been considering recently changing my pc and being able to run the Sims 4 properly is quite high on the priority list. Do any of you have any recommandations for a laptop that might be able to run the game pretty well (I have pretty much all the dlc / added content, don't have much cc because my pc doesn't handle it well), I don't mind still playing on medium settings tho.

The maximum I am able to put in a pc would be around 1000 - 1100€ but anything around 800 - 900€ might do the trick. My computer's primary use would still be college courses and work so a good battery autonomy and a lighter laptop might be what I am looking for. I've been looking into MSI's laptops but I suck at knowing which one might be better for my personnal use 😞

Does any of you have any recommandations ?

Thank you already, hope everyone has a nice day!

  • @heartlesskisser  It's impossible to give a good recommendation without knowing what's available in your particular country.  Prices can vary quite a lot even within Europe.  But in general, if you can get a new laptop with any dedicated graphics card, you should be able to run Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings.  The other hardware in these laptops should be more than fine, although you may want 512 GB of storage rather than 256.  Models with a 3050, regular or ti, tend to start around 700€, with some variation by region, and the extra storage can add 50-200€ depending on (seemingly random) price fluctuations.

I can look at specific sites if you want, or if you find something you like, feel free to link it.  You could start with a search for laptops with a 3050 and that are under 2 kg, which will be a short list, at least in your price range, but you might find something suitable.
