@clionamarie It's possible to get an okay but not great laptop for Sims 4 for under €500. I didn't see a lot of options, for new laptops at least, and this one was the best:

This has a processor and graphics chip that should be capable of running Sims 4 on medium graphics settings. Its 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage are more than enough for the game as well. It also has a nice screen for its class.
If this isn't quite what you want, I can try to find more that have the same internal hardware but match your other preferences. However, most of the laptops in this category have significantly weaker processors and/or less memory and storage, so I can't promise I'd find exactly what you were looking for.
If you're interested in used laptops, these two are the next step up in terms of hardware:

These two have the same internal hardware, so I'd expect their in-game performance to be within a few percentage points. Specifically, the processor and graphics chip should be able to handle at least medium-high if not high settings, perhaps even ultra if you don't install all the expansion packs. I didn't see any new options with this hardware for under €520, which is about what I'd expect given the current market.
If you're looking for something a little better than the above, your best bet would be to wait until you're comfortable paying around €600. That's almost always more than enough to get a new version of the two used laptops I linked, or the equivalent models with an AMD processor. The only difference in performance would be that these laptops are new; the used ones should run the game exactly the same, and if not, that's why the store offers a three-month warranty.
