Lighting
I have a Nvidia 1070 max-q. I don't know when it started but recently my textures have been weird and so has the lighting so I thought I would start with the lighting. Screenshot 1 is on low lightin...
@acdoob This issue surfaced for Sims 3 maybe six weeks ago and is also affecting other games, although not as dramatically. One suggestion is that if you've fiddled with brightness and color settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, reset them to defaults and see whether it helps. Another is to use a Reshade filter that has a... I think the term is "deband" function. But so far, there's no reliable fix.
