Live mode graphics lag issue
I'm getting a brand new lag/juddering issue in live (and build) mode after installing the new Origin update yesterday (6/20/20). It's happening in all my save files, including new saves. The only place I haven't seen it happen is in the basement of one of my houses, randomly. I've tried: removing the Mods folder, repairing the game, disabling Origin in-game, playing without internet connection, lowering graphics settings, clearing my cache, deleting screenshots, and repairing corrupt Windows files and nothing has worked. I'm at a loss now, this is making playing the game quite unpleasant and frustrating.
Basically, my fps is dropping to around ~15 pretty much everywhere. In the random untouched basement it's ~50. FPS improves slightly when the house is relatively empty and there's only 1 Sim, independent of mods/cc. So the Goth household will have ~15 fps whereas one Sim in a Willow Creek starter house will be more ~30.
My computer is only a few months old, is used only to play the Sims, and its specs should allow me to play the Sims flawlessly, and have up until the last 24 hours. I'm at a loss and would greatly appreciate any help!
I've attached my DxDiag and will answer any questions to the best of my ability. Thanks in advance!
@confession872 A couple of the Sims 4 crashes in your dxdiag reference Nahimic, a component of audio software, and another was likely due to the driver for your graphics card. Your audio driver is a bit oudated, which means Nahimic probably is as well. The driver for your Nvidia 1660 ti is also outdated. You can update all of them from the download page for your laptop:
https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GS65-STEALTH-9SD#down-driver&Win10%2064
Once you've installed everything, restart your computer, and test the game. If you still see the same low fps, please run another dxdiag.
