[MAC Bootcamp] 1.8.61.1020 intro screen UI issue

After installing 1.8.61.1020 and removing all user files (i.e. the complete The Sims 4 folder, mods and saves and everything), I was unable to play because the TS4 logo intro video covered up the con...

No, I'm not aware of anyone else with that issue .. however, people often just post "Game Won't Start" or "Doesn't Work" or something like that, so who knows.
