[MAC] Loading page keeps freezing

Firstly Im running sims 4 on a mac not a pc.

I had sims 4 installed on my mac since the day it came out and I've never had an issue with it, nor has it ever freezes on me, recently I went to play the game and when it goes through the loading screens it freezes on the page that has "the sims 4" which is the last loading page before you go in to select your game.

I was on chat with numerous EA reps and tried different solutions, I have even uninstalled sims and reinstalled it and it still freezes. 

when i go into force quit with my mac it displays that sims 4 in not responding. 

Does anyone know how to fix this, I'm dying over here without my sim fix!!
