Are you running any other programs when you play? If so, please close them before launching Sims 4. Also, did it take you a long time to download the game? Try repairing the game and then restarting. Something may not have downloaded correctly.

    No, I have no programs running while I'm playing. 

    It took me maximum 2 hours to download/install the game.
    How do I "repair" it ?

      Open up Origin and find Sims 4. Right click on the game and you should see the option to Repair the Game as well as Update. Repair first and then update. Try running your game again.

        No. Same. It does even crash earlier... But my Mac is not really charged up right now, and I know my laptop battery needs to be changed because it only lasts an hour or two. I doubt it but do you think the problem can be linked with my battery dysfunction? (even though I always play with my laptop plugged in)
