Macbook Pro or Lenovo Ideapad 3i

Hello! I had asked a Question earlier in the Mac forum, and I was told to come here. I have to buy a new laptop for college. I would prefer one that isn’t a gaming laptop only because I only play the Sims, Stardew, and Roblox really. 

I wanted to know if one of the newer MacBook models or the Lenovo idea pad 3i would be better to run the game. The mods I use are the royalty mod, WW, or other things that just add behavior or tweaks to the game I don’t know how intensive those are though.. 

Also I can adjust my budget to accommodate anything for Mac or Lenovo so I’m open to any suggestions!

    @Wemonnn  I'd need to see the exact model(s) of Ideapad you're considering.  They range from proper gaming laptops to low-end systems that could barely run Sims 4.  And let me know if you'd be okay with a different Lenovo laptop as well, for example a Legion or a Yoga.  The Legion is a high-quality gaming laptop, usually bulky but there's a Slim version as well; the Yoga is more portable and lightweight, but it can come with higher-end components as well, for a higher price.
