Major bug after toddler update

so i wanted to try out toddlers. Everything was alright. I made a gay couple with a boy and girl. well i noticed that my couple were going to be romantic so i was like okay. however his arms went backwards and he kissed the air. I then noticed the plus heart with him and his daughter. i went into his relationships and they had kissed?? i was really grossed out so i just deleted the save as quick as possible. I noticed no one else had this problem. However i fixed it by deleting it i just want to know if there is a way to keep it from happening again. I just didn't like the idea of him and his daughter being able to be romantically involved somehow.
