Many many (many) crashes
My game has been unstable for several months now. It's not consistent. Sometimes it crashes immediately on load. Sometimes it crashes when loading a save. Sometimes it crashes after playing for 10 to...
TLDR: It was Dell's factory overclocking, I turned it off in the BIOS and it fixed it.
I tried a few of your suggestions, including updating the BIOS, updating Nvidia and other drivers, and removing Razer software. In the end none of that worked, but I was able to go into the BIOS and turn off the Turbo Boost. That seems to have fixed the issues that I have been having, not only with the Sims, but with all sorts of other applications. Thank you very much for your help.
