I’ve checked every single mod as in I’ve gone through every file to make sure it’s compatible and synced, as well as ran a diagnostic for any “broken” mods. The only time the game loads is when I do not have mod files in; the game does not load with ANY mod files. It doesn’t matter what mod file it is, if I put just a single random mod file in then the game doesn’t accept it. The problem is not a broken or incompatible mod, it’s the fact that my game is now not accepting ANY mods after this update.
So you have now confirmed that none of the mods you use are working. Contact the authors and inquire if they are working on updates to them Until then you will need to play without.

Seems like you completely misread what I said so, again, nope. The mods themselves are perfectly working, downloaded, updated, synced, and not the problem. It is the game. Not sure how to make that any clearer

@stormythewormy Please test a few mods in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, launch the game to create a new folder, enable mods and custom content, and quit. Download a fresh copy of one mod, something confirmed to be compatible with the current patch level (1.85), and see whether it works.
If the game doesn't load with that mod in place, please let me know whether you've moved the default location of the Sims 4 user folder, for example to an external drive. And if you use a third-party antivirus, let me know which one.

Edit: unless you somehow would like to explain to me how over 2,000 mods that are all completely updated (with new patches) and downloaded correctly are the problem and not the single game lmao.
