Community ManagerI just looked and found that my memory boost is set to automatic. I did not choose this setting as today is the 1st time I bothered to even see what is about. Regardless, I have dx 12 and I am not going to roll it back to dx 11. Should I just disable this because I do not want to understand any of this! I only want to play my game! My game plays better offline then it does online now! That's the 1st observation I have. I just upgraded my entire system a few months ago so that my game would not play with so much lag and drag..... it was quite effective a few months ago. Now, as of lately... it's worse! Sims 4 is the only game I have on my system, the only game I have ever played (sims 1,2, &3). I play on EA platform only even though the LE still says Origin.
Automatic currently means disabled. Since it's opt-in only enabled will force the feature.
Just wanted to let you know I disabled the memory booster . I never enabled it because I did major upgrades $$$$ on my system a few months ago because my games were dragging horrendously. I was thrilled with the results! ... and then along came Memory booster. I played it with the temporary setting as it was loaded in my game settings and then I disabled it. and Wow 🤪 - My system doesn't need it, It actually plays so much better without it. 😁
