Military Uniform Doesn't Change with Rank

When my sim got promoted to Lacking Corporal he got a new uniform, then when he got promoted to Sergeant Minor the uniform reverted to the Private 4th Class uniform. Now he's been promoted to Warrant Officer and he still has a Private 4th Class uniform. Is it supposed to be this way? I can't find a webpage showing uniforms for the lower ranks, so I can't tell what my sim should be wearing. It's hard to imagine a Warrant Officer walking around in a green t-shirt with dog-tags.

If this is a technical problem, does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi;
This isn't a bug or anything; outfit seems to change between most "boot camp" outfits before moving into the Officer or Covert Operator branches. Once you move into one of the branches, you'll notice a more significant change as Officers will get a Uniform, and Covert Operators will get a Suit.
