UPDATE: Finally someone from the live chat named AKASH, note the name as they seem to be the most competent advisor in there, opened my closed account so I can give them the order numbers of the content EA claimed I have not purchased. I gave them the order numbers and they added my content back. Seems that Incheoin arrivals is callesd South Korean Fashion and Simtimates Collection is called Loungewear or something and they could not find them due to name difference. but is it MY problem or should EA support know that their content is named differently per region?
Also Growing Together was not seen as paid but they brought this back too once I gave them the order number.
Funny enough I asked a previous advisor who said I do not own the packs and asked me for the order numbers if there is a way for me to check them in my old account and his answer was a plain NO.
As a chat advisor for a different company myself I was able to recignise low work ethic that drives customers mad and rude and this made me more upset because I KNOW YOU HAVE the resources as long as you care enough. I wasted 4 days of my life crying out of anger and trying to get my issue sorted with people that couldn't care less and with the exception of maybe 4 out of possibly over 20 chat advisors I spoke to, they were plainly bored and indifferent.
Anyway, AKASH should be celebrated in there because I was one step away from legal action and they solved my issue because they cared enough to try!
PROBLEM SOLVED.
Someone from EA who knows what they're doing PLEASE help me.
I had literally every single piece of TS4 content and I had some issues with the payment method for "for rent". I got an email to update it and I followed the link to EA website but clicking update payment method was unresponsive so I tried to contact the support. Solaire from here explained to me how to reach chat support because it seemed impossible and I finally manage to contact them but things only get worse from there.
Since the advisors I spoke to seemed to really not understand what the issue is and not willing to try to understand either (they were telling me I have paid and I cannot download the game because of busy servers when I was telling them that I never paid and only realized I was right when I said that if I payed I want a refund...) I thought the easiest way to get this done would be to make a new account, buy for rent there and then have everything else transfered. And this is what we did. But up until yesterday night I contacted countless times, spike to multiple people who didn't seem to have a clue and eventually managed to get through to someone who manually added some of my content back. Told me to wait and do some cache clearing etc and everything else would show, since this didn't work I contacted again and one more advisor managed to add some more stuff. Next one told me all has been moved, one was telling me I don't own any more packs but the next one managed to add some more again. Now I'm stuck missing growing together, simtimates collection and Incheon arrivals, that one of the advisors assured me they have transferred and it is a matter of syncing. The last advisor I spoke to as waiting did not show me my items told me I don't own them and after I insisted that this is not the case he said I own growing together but not the kits and that they are already in my library. At this point I'm desperate, I'm stressed, I wasted two and a half days talking to people who don't seem to even see the same information with each other and they keep trying to get rid of me. Can someone PLEASE help me get my content back. I have save files that this content was used before and I can provide them if needed. I have the bank statement for growing together charges but I do not remember when exactly I bought the specific kits and as my old account is not allowing me access after the merge I'm helpless. This while thing is exhausting. EA is supposed to offer fun not more problems stress and headaches....
