Missing mods

@whitney_xx Are they missing in the game or from the folder you moved around ?

@crinrict They aren’t in my folder at all nor showing up in my game. It’s as if they have been deleted but I have checked the bin and there’s nothing in there - not what I’m looking for anyway!

@whitney_xx Do you remember a mod that was in that folder by name ? You could search you computer for it.

@crinrict I remember 1 or 2 but I know that a few are missing as I said all my mods are in order so it starts from A-Z but A- F is missing then I have E there but then G is missing, does that make sense? I have already searched my computer for the ones I do remember. The annoying thing is I’ve paid for the mods or Custom content so it makes this so much more annoying

@whitney_xx I don't see any other way to get them back unless you still have the download files somewhere or made a backup. You can check oneDrive if you're using that if they're still there.

Otherwise I would contact the creators to get it back for those that you paid for.

It's really curious how that happened unless you moved them folder by folder and missed some.

@crinrict I have a feeling while it was copying the folder to my desktop it may of stopped for some reason and that’s how they have got lost, however it still doesn’t make sense as to where they are

@whitney_xx Did you delete the folder in Mods afterwards ? If they didn't copy properly and then you deleted the original folder than that could explain why they are not there anymore.

@crinrict I moved the folder on my desktop it said “mod (copy)” back into the mods folder when i had updated the game, so the folders were still in there I just had another copy on the desktop I then deleted the copy. As I said it was my first time doing it so I don’t think I’d done it right but again either way there was a copy of the folder, once I’d put it back in I deleted the copy. I’ve been into the recycling bin restored it and the folder is empty as it should be because I took everything out before binning it

@whitney_xx If you made a copy they should still be in the original folder even if you copy the others back. Really to bit at loss how to help you with this. If you search your whole hard drive for them and they're not there and they're also not in your recycle bin, I don't know where else they would be.
