Missing Sims

So when I opened by game it said I had purchased content, but when I went to play on San Myshino (that's probably not how you spell it) it had the lock thing like I hadn't bought it. It also popped up with this warning saying something about content was missing and not to save the game if I didn't want it to disappear forever. 

After that, i closed the game without saving and opened it back up and my purchased content was back, but all of my sims and homes I had made were completely gone, except for the cities that come with the game. How do I get that stuff back because i was really proud of those things?
