Missing TS4_x64.exe

Hello, I have a problem with my missing TS4_x64.exe file/shortcut. My game won’t run, getting so many errors, And I cannot find my file/shortcut anywhere. I don’t know if I deleted the file/shortcut on accident and getting errors from a missing file. This is the first time that I getting these errors. How to bring back theTS4_x64.exe file/shortcut? Should I delete all my files from game from The Sim 4 file? Deleted my game and install it again? If you have a problem like this before and know how to fix it. Please let me know, Thank you.

  • @ggytygku--open your Origin library, right-click on the Sims 4 tile, and choose 'repair' from the menu that will appear. that will check for missing files.

I did repair the game but nothings happening. I don’t see the file. When I went to the Bin in the Sims 4 folder is still not there. I meaning I did update the game but no TS4_x64.exe file. If he saying “Windows cannot find C:\Games\The Sims 4\game\Bin make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.” or “An error while unpacking: Unable to write data to the disk!.”

@ggytygku--Origin should have downloaded the missing .exe file, this is what the repair was for. are you perhaps using an antivirus/firewall? if so, refer to its FAQ so you can add Origin to its exceptions list.

that said, the last error message is proper suspicious, for lack of a better word. if you got your game through an 'alternative' source, it's likely that this troubleshooting won't help.

First, uninstall the antivirus, then fix the game on Origin and check if the game starts.
Install the antivirus again and add the following files to the exceptions
1, Origin.exe - in Win10 it is sometimes only called Origin without the exe end, but it is the same file.
    2. OriginClient.Service.exe
    3. TS4.exe or it will be just TS4 without the ending
    4. TS4_x64.exe
All these files are located in the Program Files (x86) folder
However, while Origin is easy to find, you must know the path to the game files
Origin games> The Sims4> game (search for g letter of this folder)> Bin and Bin_LE
In each Bin folder, there is one file with the initial name TS4 and each one must be added to the exceptions

    I don't work for EA

  • This does not work for me, when I open orgin the repair is greyed out! helP!!!
