Hello! This my first time posting here after 12 years of playing, crazy right?! So I just updated my game with the new update yesterday but I am having trouble planning events. Once I get to the end of planning, it’s a blank screen for place and time and there’s no check mark to complete it either. - I can pick a day, host, and invitees - I use event mods/never had this issue before - I’ve updated all possible custom events and all mods (would prefer not to part with outdated ones but if I have to I will) - have deleted local thumb cache - only 3 EA events actually work I appreciate the help!

@Aly1233 DId you test without the mods as well ? Does sound like one of them is outdated with the patch. Let the creator know it doesn't work and hope that they update it. Playing your game with outdated ones can harm your save game.

@Aly1233 DId you test without the mods as well ? Does sound like one of them is outdated with the patch. Let the creator know it doesn't work and hope that they update it.

Playing your game with outdated ones can harm your save game.

Do you have weerbesus mods installed? (Party anywhere, Longer parties, 20 sims cap remover, invite any guests....)
Updating them helped me with the same problem. In general, any mods that involve venue or event manipulation can cause that.

Hey! I'm having the same problem. Did updating the mods fix it? Cause I have the last update from november 2019 and I'm wondering if there has been new updates since and if so where can I find them?

So far I’ve updated all mods and trashed ones that are broken, except for the event mods that aren’t working (as they aren’t causing any other game problems). I’ve also ran the game with and without all mods and then trial runs with and without each event mod.

A few other notes:
- I have BrittpinkieSims’ event mods, which I know are very outdated but I’ve literally had no issues with any part of my game until this Tiny Living Update
- I do not have Tiny Living
- My computer sometimes forces Origin/Sim updates without asking so I didn’t get the chance to stop it before getting to check my mods
- ~~KawaiiStacie’s event Mods are not working either (I know she’s currently fixing her site and mods as well)~~
- EA events are all working now
- I do not have any other event related mods besides the events themselves
The only other thing I could think of is MC Command Center not being updated in a long time. Since it has so much control of other things, could this be the culprit?

My issue was coming from the claudiasharon mod to party anywhere, I've deleted it and I've had no problem with the rest of my mods. As for KawaiiStacy's mod I've deleted them all except for the preschool, hoping it's still working but I'm not playing with a household with a toddler right now so I guess i'll see.

I also have this issue. I have some events mods in my game. I guess I'll have to do the elimination method to see which mod is actually causing this problem. Anyone else with this problem that have been able to resolve it?

I unfortunately still haven’t been able to fix it, kawaiistacie updated her events so those are now working but I’m still having trouble with others. My only other option is to see if maybe she’d consider remaking those events and making them her own? But other than that, I’ve got nothin

I just had the same issue of not being able to select place/time for social events (was trying to plan an EA birthday party event). The mod I traced it to was one by Shimrod called "ShimrodClubsPartiesWeddingAtGenericVenues". Once I removed that mod I was fine. Hope this might help!

hey! I appreciate the suggestion! I actually am playing without any event mods (that aren’t custom events) I believe I did have the shimrod one as well but I’ve since deleted it but I still have the problem ☹️
