So this problem happened to me also and what i did was, I copied all my mods to a separate folder on my desktop and uninstalled the game, then installed the game again, the problem kept happening, so I went to origin and clicked the option to repair the game. When the game finished repairing I copied all the mods from the folder on the desktop to the mod's folder on the game, and when I opened the game my mods worked fine.
I hope this helps you!

Hi, so I tried to repair the game, but that didn't seem to work. I moved the mods folder to folder. I did everything I could. I installed one that cam out today, everything! So why isn't this working?

Here's a few tips: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2018/11/mods-custom-content-doesnt-show-up/
Is it just the new mod that doesn't show up or all of them ?

I really want to try this because it is happening to me right now but I got a notification when I clicked uninstall saying that all add-ons, bonuses, and files in the game installation directory will be removed. I am so close to having all expansion packs and I don't want to lose them because that is like over 200-300 dollars worth of expansion packs. What do I do?! Did you have any expansion packs or stuff packs? If so, when you uninstalled and re installed the game did your expansion/stuff packs delete forever? Please Help Me Somebody!

@EmmaSimzYT That just means that the packs will be removed from your computer, not from your Origin library. When you redownload the game, all those packs will be available to install again.
