Mods not workimg

So, I went onto the sims today and it deleted all my progress saying something about the card or something. Sorry I forgot. Anyways I went to turn the mods back on which I did and reset the games but none of the mods were showing up. So I deleted them all and downloaded two just to see if it shows up again. I extracted them into the mods folder and ran the game. Mods were enabled but the mod screen didn’t pop up when I opened it like usual. I decided to play the game just to be sure and the mod wasn’t showing up still. I decided to move the EA folder from OneDrive to Desktop but the didn’t make a difference either. I don’t know what’s happening. Do I have to delete the whole game and redownload  load it? I really want to avoid it because it’ll take forever but I’ll do it if I have to. Please help.

  • @justsamkeller  It sounds like the game is reading a different Sims 4 user data folder than the one you've been adding mods to.  So no matter what you add to the "wrong" folder, it won't show up in-game.  Here are good instructions on finding the correct folder:

If you don't have a save right now, you can always make one for testing.

And no, you don't need to uninstall Sims 4 or anything drastic.  This is about your user files, not the game's program files.
