Just got an update today..the mouse is running around again.
I've only had experience with the mouse holes in City Living apartments, but this doesn't sound like a bug to me - the hole isn't meant to have mice all of the time. After you placing a trap, the mice are dead and the hole is supposed to be dormant. It can be several days or weeks before a new mouse will spawn from the hole - it's random.
yes, the mouse ran out of the hole frequently....every minute or so. Hafter placing the trap it seemed to glitch for a moment (I saw no trap laid down). After this, I quit the game without saving, and loaded a game before placing the trap...the mouse hole was still glitched, where the mouse did not run out every minute or so. I will see if the mouse reappears in the future and give a heads up
