It's likely due to your camera settings. You can either use CTRL+9 and CTRL+0 instead of just 9 and 0, or you can delete the VideoCameraStates configuration file in the folder of the same name in your /Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 directory. This file stores camera positions you may have inadvertently set, and there is no harm in deleting it, as it will be created whenever you set new positions.
