Move Sims 4 to D drive
right now, my Sims 4 folder + Electronic Arts folder are in my C drive, & since i have a lot of space on my D drive, i would like to move my Sims 4 content there. However; i've been unable to find a ...
@masciatto If you want to install the game's program files on D, you'll need to uninstall the game through the EA App and reinstall on D. The App doesn't have a Move Game function like Origin did.
If you want to move your user data to D, use a symbolic link:

@puzzlezaddict hey, so i followed the steps in those instructions you gave me and the cmd prompt keeps saying The syntax of the command is incorrect.
the only difference i keep seeing is the command starts with: C:\Users\hetom rather than C:\WINDOWS\system32 (my pc is a 64 bit which i'm assuming that will replace that 32). other than that, i dont know what i'm doing wrong.
@masciatto Please post a screenshot of the Command Prompt window showing the command you entered and the result. Please also confirm the location where you want the folder to go as well as the current location of the Documents directory. For the latter, enter this into Command Prompt:
reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"
and post the result.
