Moving In-Game Camera

Hi all!

I've never used this forum before, so hopefully it all works! I used to play sims 4 all the time, and I would be able to move my camera view both horizontally and vertically using the middle wheel on my mouse. I did this on the sims 3 camera view. However, I hadn't played for a while (few months to a year, not sure) and now it doesn't let me use the middle mouse wheel to do this anymore. I was wondering if anyone would know how to fix this? I looked online and couldn't find anything similar, so I'm starting to think I'm going crazy and that i could never use the middle mouse wheel to move my camera view. So, if this isn't possible, how do you guys do it?

  • @sterredxb1  With the Sims 3 camera, I've always zoomed in and out by scrolling the wheel, and moved the camera angle by holding down the wheel as I moved the mouse.  I can center the camera on a different location by right-clicking that location.  Do these not work for you?  If not, try switching back to the Sims 4 camera, quitting, restarting, and switching back to the Sims 3 camera.

If it still doesn't work, please disable any apps that come with in-game overlays, for example Steam or Discord.  Disable the EA App's in-game overlay as well; I believe the option is under Settings > Application.
