Moving Sims 4 to another laptop. What happens to my origin expansion packs?

Hi guys,

I have the basic Sims 4 game on my laptop. I am going to university and fortunately getting a new laptop. I am looking to transfer my sims game to this new laptop. However, I have been purchasing expansion packs e.g. Spa day, get to work, etc through origin online for online download. These expansions appear in my game.

So, what I am asking is when I want to move my Sims 4 game with all my purchased content, do I just press 'uninstall' and follow the instructions and reinstall it on new laptop and my bought content will appear, or do I have to go about it another way?

Any replies would be appreciated! Thank you.

You will need to install the base game, then click on in on the base game to see the expansion packs and install them as well.

Also backup your user files: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/backups/

@gbennett005 Just sign in on the other laptop and it should be there.

I thought I had downloaded the Sims 4 onto my new laptop and its not there.&nbsp; Said something about locating my files and would take a couple of hours.&nbsp; Its been since 1pm today it is now 8:30pm and nothing??????
