Flashing white screen and game crash

Hello,

I've got a problem since a few days. No matter what I do in the game (CAS, Gameplay or Build mode), the screen start flashing white and after stay on white screen. I must force restart the computer.

I dont use any CC or mod. Yesterday I reinstalled all the game properly and update all the drivers. I've got a good computer for the sims.

Today the problem is still here, I'll try to make a new part and it happened 4 times in the CAS. It isn't possible to play like that. Everytime I have to restart everything.

Thanks to you. Have a nice day.

  • StephanieHeyne  Please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

  • StephanieHeyne  Your dxdiag shows that the graphics driver is crashing, which is not a surprise given what you've described.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver.  Here's how:

Even though your laptop has an iGPU, it looks like it's disabled and only the Nvidia GPU is active and only its driver is present, so that's what you'll be removing.

  • StephanieHeyne  You still have the same driver, which you should (it's the newest one for your GPU), so I can't tell from your dxdiag whether it was reinstalled properly.  What I can see is that the driver crashes have been crowded out by newer errors from an overlay from some Logitech software.  So please disable or uninstall any Logitech apps you have, at least for now, and then try again to play Sims 4.

If you see the same issue as before, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to play.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

  • Hello :)

No more crash since I uninstall my logitech app.

Thanks a lot for your time and patience. :)
