My CD wont work

I bought my Sims 4 CD at a local BestBuy and i put it into my computer to play. When it went to the screen that has three bullet points that say "Select Continue", "Sign In", and "install the Sims 4", I hit continue. Then it took me to another screen that had login information on it. Once I entered my information, it literally went to a loading screen and did nothing for about an hour and then I got mad and turned my computer off. How do I fix this?!

    Try redeeming the code through Origin (Origin in the menu > Redeem product code).

    The game should start to install or show up under the 'My Games'.
