My game continues to crash
Greetings, This past week, my game has crashed everytime a play household. I have done all the following that I have seen on these platforms. 1. Repaired the game 2. Clear CACHE folders in Origin ...
@Myssdee Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Clear Origin's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and repair the game again, just to be thorough—sometimes the first attempt at repairing isn't as thorough as it should be.
Please also run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files. Here's how:
When you launch the game, a clean Sims 4 folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see how a new save runs. If it crashes again, please run another dxidag; your first one didn't pick up your processor model.
Please also link the driver download page for your computer. Go here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops
Enter your laptop's serial number, choose your operating system if necessary, and you'll land on the driver download page. That page doesn't contain any information about your own laptop, just the model. I'd like to compare the available drivers and other software to what you already have installed.
After doing the Sfc/scannow, it posted this
"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
@Myssdee Does the game work in a new user folder? If not, please run a new dxdiag and link the driver download page for your laptop.
