my game does not want to leave CAS

I've been struggling for over a month now to play sims and I'm at the point of just deleting sims and moving on with my life...

For the last month now after a small base game update at the end of January 2023 my game has been giving me an error telling me that the express downloads don't work and then I noticed that all of my families and saved games are gone, I at first didn't think much of it as it still allowed me to play the game... or so I thought...

I can create a sim but that's where my gameplay ends, I can't download anything from the gallery and I can't enter to choose a world or a season my game freezes right after I've pressed the continue button and it stays greyed out, it also doesn't allow me to save any of the communities or even my own creations on the gallery, it just keeps loading forever and I went onto the forums to see if anyone else has been struggling with it and I found a few solutions like deleting files or packages or even going as far as uninstalling the game and reinstalling it multiple times in hopes that it will finally work again, I even went as far as to uninstalling EA Play and reinstalling it, but nothing has worked so far...

I'm running out of patience and I don't want to not play sims I love playing it so much... but if that's the only thing that's gonna work to just forget about sims then so be it...

does someone have some advice??

    @co0ber69  If you haven't already, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

    Just a note:  This folder doesn't normally get deleted when you uninstall the game, which is why it's necessary to move or remove the folder manually.

    If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
