Keyserpenguin Thanks for the dxdiag, which lists a number of crashes of a component of an AMD Radeon graphics driver. Have you ever had an AMD GPU installed on this computer? You shouldn't have this driver present at all with an Nvidia GPU, but perhaps if you previously switched from AMD, the driver wasn't removed properly. (Note: This has nothing to do with your AMD CPU, in case you're wondering.)
At any rate, please download Display Driver Uninstaller and see whether it detects an AMD driver. If it does, remove that driver, as described here:
If this doesn't help, or DDU doesn't find an AMD driver, do you see an error message when trying to play? I'd like a screenshot in that case.
