Please help! More info below -- === Graphics device info === Number: 0 Name (driver): AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics Name (database): [Found: 0, Supported: 1]My game is completely wiped but all of my files are still here, please help!!
I went to boot up the sims today and it has completely wiped everything. It's literally at the 'Start New Game' screen after saying 'couldn't recognize video card'. All of my files are still in the folder including my saves and mods, I have multiple copies on my laptop. It's in the documents folder, everything is intact but the game is acting as if I just downloaded it. I am SO CONFUSED and i don't know what to do. I have over 200 hours on sims and so many households I've spent hours making. Please please please please PLEASE help.Loading is extremely slow, game is lagging to the point it is unplayable
For the past few days every time I launch the game it takes forever to load and when it eventually does it is so laggy I don't bother with it since it is not enjoyable anymore. I have no CC or Mods and have followed much of the advice given for similar issues with the game online. Removing the Sims 4 Folder and starting over changed nothing, I have validated game files on Steam and tried playing offline which worked once (the game was running smoothly as it did before) but that was only that one time, never again. I ran a DxDiag which I will attach to the post in case anyone can help me? Is it just me, the computer or the game? Any help will be appreciated, thank you!Game won't load past title screen and crashes
Hi! For some reason, when I try to open my game, it loads up like normal up until the Sims 4 title screen. One it gets there, it completely freezes, stops responding, and just closes. I don't have any mods installed (that I know of, at least) so I'm confused on what's stopping it from working. I thought maybe it was just EA so i deleted and reinstalled both the sims and EA but it still didn't do anything.143Views2likes10CommentsWon't load
Since I updated my game yesterday, my game just sits on the loading screen. I don't even get past the EA site loading screen, and it just keeps saying loading. I've restarted my pc several times, repaired the game, even read other people's problems who are similar and did what was suggested, and nothing has fixed it.I also don't have any expansion packs or mods installed, so it should be loading. I just want to play the Sims at least one more time before I leave for trade School on Mondaycan't load in
since i updated my game yesterday, when i try to open my game, it just gets stuck on the blue loading screen. i can hear the music playing in the background, but my screen is frozen and my cursor won't move. the only way i can get out of the game is by force exiting through ctrl>shift>esc and if i go back into the game, the screen will have changed- but it's still frozen. i have no mods or cc, but i removed those files regardless. i've repaired the game twice, updated my laptop, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and nothing works. i've even copied and pasted my game files elsewhere, deleted the originals, and put the new ones back. what should i do?Can't Play sims 4
After the newest update to the game, I couldn't get in. It would load me in and everything perfectly fine but when you get to the worlds and error message would pop up. It keeps telling me to relaunch the game which I did multiple times, but it still isn't working. I then went to go see if it was my mods which then lead me to download a mod checker, the mod checker just shows half of my mods being conflicted but before they were working perfectly fine. I don't really know what to do now because it feels like I'm out of options. Any suggestions?
