@JulianneALee First guess would be you have too little free space on your system device. Try deleting stuff off the system device and see if that helps.

Could you please post the following info
- Your Computer's DxDiag
- If you have, the following file: Documents\electronic arts\the sims 4\lastcrash.txt
- The following file: Documents\electronic arts\the sims 4\config.log
You can upload DxDiag and config.log directly to your post.
For any lastCrash files, either create a rar file and upload that or copy/paste the content of the file to a post inside spoiler tags (the icon next to the strike-through)

Mmm...is 85G enough free space? In any case, that's not it. My son created a clean install, and now the game works fine. I have to start adding in my temporarily removed userdata bit-by-bit, to find out what in it was mucking up the works. I don't think it's coincidence that the crashes began in earnest when I started using the bunk beds in the 3/23 update. Not when I downloaded the update, but when I started using the beds. If anyone has any advice on how to go about reinserting the userdata, I'm all ears.
