My mods arent showing up in game and on the mods list

I had an issue with there being a white screen every time I launched the sims 4. I looked up solutions to solve this problem and someone said to move the mods folder to the desktop so I did. I also repaired the sims on origin. I launched the sims 4 and the white screen problem was solved but my mods weren't showing up on the mods list and in-game. Because of this, I moved the mods folder back into the sims 4 folder. I loaded up the sims 4 but the mods still didn't show up so I went into the mods folder and checked if there was anything that was not supposed to be in the folder. I found nothing but then I found out that I had too many mods so I deleted mods. I loaded up the sims 4 again but the mods still weren't showing. I copied the folder, deleted it then tried to paste it back into the sims 4 folder but I couldn't so I restored the mods folder from the recycling bin. It didn't work. I don't know if the mods folder is in the wrong place or I have too many mods or something.

When you are launching the game without mods the new mods folder is created.
Now you need to find this one or more culprits that prevent the game to launch.
Copy and paste your mods and CC from the old mods folder to the new one. First copy the scripts mods every time checking if the game is working properly. You need to launch the game after each pasting mod.
If you have a lot of CC try 50/50 method ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)

    I don't work for EA
  • I don't see a new folder. Should I move the mods folder to the desktop then launch the game? Will that create a new mods folder?
