My Origin account isn't working.

OK so lets get straight to the story.

2 years ago, I needed sims 4 for a school project, so I couldn't afford 40 dollars for sims 4, so I went on ebay to buy a cheaper price, and I did. I even have the receipt and PROOF of this.

2 years later, I still play sims 4, but just 2 days ago, my account wasn't working for some reason. saying that it was "Not available or credentials had expired."

I'm 14, I saved up some money for this game 2 years ago. I tried to get the account back, But i don't know how to because the account wasn't belong to me until 2 years i bought it.

I tried to go to the control panel. Did the WAN method. DIDN'T WORK

Tried to clear the offline cache. DIDN'T work.

Please? I need help. Does anyone know how to fix this situation?

(If you want to see the proof just ask.)

I did. But they said they couldn't do anything about it.

If you got the game when you were 12, you probably have a child's account? Or at least you did before? They can be a bit trickier for us to help with.

But something with your message is a bit tricky. Did you buy the account?

    Spoiler

EA Terms of Service section 6: Rules of Conduct

When you access or use an EA Service, you agree that you will not:

    • Sell, buy, trade or otherwise transfer or offer to transfer your EA Account, any personal access to EA Services, or any EA Content associated with your EA Account, including EA Virtual Currency and other Entitlements, either within an EA Service or on a third party website, or in connection with any out-of-game transaction, unless expressly authorized by EA.

You can see the full terms here: http://www2.ea.com/terms-of-service

Or did you mean that you did not create your account until you bought the game? 🙂

I didn't bought a game from a child. So no. I bought it from an adult who didn't want to use the account anymore.

And I just bought the account that had sims 4 in it.

That is against the TOS. Unfortunately it looks like the seller closed the account or changed the password. There is nothing we or EA can do about that.

To continue playing you will need to purchase the game on your own Origin account.

What @jpkarlsen said is the truth. The game is on sale right for like 1,5 more days on Origin I think. Buying it on Origin is the most secure way, but you can also check out other trusted sellers here.

If you choose to buy the game in the store, make sure that you buy a sealed box (with plastic around it) and keep the receipt.

This was hard for you to know as a kid, and very immoral of that adult who sold the account to trick you, I am actually a bit angry. Make sure to talk with your parents when spending your money so they can help you make sure you're buying the real product.

Maybe you can contact the account seller and confront them if you want to.

    Good luck
