My sim’s skin has vanished

I logged onto my game this morning and saw that my sim’s skin had gone completely pitch black. At first I thought it was an issue with my mods, but after removing the folder and repairing the game, the issue was still present. I even tried to access full edit cas mode to see if maybe it was a problem with the specific skin colour I had chosen (as my other sims’ skin is completely fine), but all options relating to skin and face (eyes, lips, nose, eyebrows, makeup etc, even detail mode) were gone. I have no idea what to do and really hope this gets fixed soon, I don’t want to play with a sim whose face I cannot see. 😭
