My Sim won´t prepare food

When I choose the option to prepare a gourmet meal, my Sim grabs something from the fridge, but abandons the preparation and starts doing something else. When I tell her to go back to cooking, I get this message. She even gets uncomfortable and annoyed about eating only microwaved food, but I can't do anything else. Help, I don't understand what it means/what I'm supposed to do.
