My sims 4 families won't open
I was in the middle of playing one of my families, and it exited out to the map screen. now when I try to open one of my families it starts to load and then it cuts back to the map. Help please!

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

- ApprovedHi thanks for responding! I don't have any mods and as far as I know I have no custom content... I have downloaded a few residential lots from the gallery so maybe there's some there? but I don't know how I would find them.

Are you talking about the option that says to go into build mode? if so then yeah I've tried that too and I cant do that either, it goes right back to the map :/ Ive tried deleting the cache, i've tried repairing the game, I've tried loading a previous save from before it happened (same thing happened) i was gonna backup the files but i realized that won't work since they're corrupted.. i really don't want to have to uninstall, i have like 20 something families ☹️
